This policy explains what personal data Privé Academy collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible for your data
PRIVÉ d.o.o., Ulica Ivane Kobilce 27, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia (registration number 3872572000) is the controller for personal data collected through this website. For purchases made in USD, Prive Academy, LLC, One Gateway Center, Suite 2600, Newark, NJ 07102, United States, is a joint controller for that order.

What we collect, and why
When you contact us or join a waitlist. Your name, email address, phone number and your message. We use it to reply, and, for a waitlist, to tell you when enrollment opens. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract, and your consent for waitlist updates.
When you ask to enroll. Your name, email address and phone number, so we can take you to checkout and follow up if you don't finish. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract.
When you buy. Your name, email address, billing and shipping address, and phone number where the courier needs it. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. We use this to process your order, ship your kit, open your course access and meet our tax and accounting duties. Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and legal obligation.
When you book a call. Your name, email address, phone number and the time you choose. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
When you take the course. Your course platform account and progress, and the practical assignments you submit for review, so your trainer can review your work and issue your certificate. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
When you browse. Technical data your browser sends (IP address, device and browser type) and, only if you agree, analytics and advertising cookies. See the Cookie Policy. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website, and your consent for non-essential cookies.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers to run the website and deliver your course. Each processes your data on our instructions:
- HighLevel (LeadConnector): website hosting, forms, booking calendar, customer records and email. United States.
- Stripe: card payments. Ireland and United States.
- Kartra: the online course platform. United States.
- Google: web fonts, and Google Analytics if you consent to analytics cookies. United States.
- Meta: advertising measurement, only if you consent to marketing cookies. Ireland and United States.
- Couriers: to deliver your kit. They receive your name, address and phone number.
We don't sell your personal data.
Transfers outside the EU
Some of these providers are based in, or access data from, the United States. Where they do, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and waitlist entries: until you ask us to delete them, or 2 years after our last contact.
- Orders and invoices: as long as tax and accounting law requires (10 years in Slovenia).
- Course account and certificate records: for as long as your access lasts, so we can confirm your certification if asked.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, for example with the unsubscribe link in any email. Write to office@prive-academy.com. We'll answer within one month.
If you think we've handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, www.ip-rs.si) or to the data protection authority where you live.
US residents
If you're in the United States, you can make the same requests described above by writing to office@prive-academy.com. We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising without the consent you give through our cookie banner.
Changes
We'll update this policy when our data practices change, and change the date at the top when we do.
